This qualification has been designed to allow learners to obtain and then demonstrate the knowledge and skills required when working at Level 2 with children and young people.
This is a competency-based qualification that will provide you with practical skills and knowledge to enable you to gain employment and progress in the Children and Young People’s sector.
The qualification is designed to make up the component parts of the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship for the Children and Young People’s Workforce in Wales.
The primary purpose of the qualification is to confirm occupational competence. As such, this qualification has value either as a stand-alone qualification or as part of an apprenticeship.
