The BIIAB Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for Wales and Northern Ireland is designed for people working in health and social care, for example in job roles such as Senior Care Worker, Senior Health Care Worker and Day Care Officer. Learners will be able to obtain and then demonstrate the skills to work at an operational level in Health and Social Care.
This qualification is recommended for practice by Social Care Wales as an accepted qualification for an occupational therapy assistant role.
The primary purpose of the qualification is to confirm occupational competence.
