With a career in further education spanning 30 years and having served as a Trustee and Chair of Access to Higher Education at Skills and Education Group, Yultan Mellor has been appointed the group’s Interim Chief Executive Officer.
Yultan joins the group from the further education team at Peridot Partners, where she has been working to recruit Principals, Chief Executives, senior leaders, and Governors into colleges across the UK.
Speaking of her appointment, Yultan said:
Having spent my entire career in further education, committed to the mission of enabling opportunity through education, I feel privileged to join Skills and Education Group as Interim Chief Executive and I look forward to leading them into their next phase. Skills and Education Group has been widening participation through learning for over 100 years and I'm proud to join an organisation whose values align so well with my own.

Yultan is a previous Principal and Chief Executive of Northern College and a previous Vice Principal Curriculum at Nottingham College.
