There was a sense of optimism and collaboration in the air at The Midland Hotel on Tuesday 2 November. Training sector specialists and practitioners from across the country gathered in Manchester for the first face-to-face conference hosted by AELP since the start of the pandemic.
The agenda on the day was split in to four themes: Plans, Places, Providers and Prosper. Delegates were given an opportunity to hear keynote updates from the main regulators, political leaders, and from the training providers themselves, to gain an insight into what the road to recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic looks like in the sector.
It was a really positive experience to be able to connect with colleagues in the sector through this face-to-face event, and re-introduce BIIAB as important new brand of the Skills and Education Group.
BIIAB Qualifications Limited was proud to sponsor the registration desk at the conference, as well as the individual delegate lanyards. Skills and Education Group Awards, another national awarding body within the Group, similarly sponsored the delegate bags and notepads.
