This qualification has been designed to allow learners to obtain and then demonstrate the knowledge of employment responsibilities and rights required by apprentices and workers within the health and social care sector.
This qualification forms the Employment Responsibilities and Rights mandatory requirement of the following Apprenticeships in Wales:
- Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship for the Children and Young People’s Workforce
- Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for the Children and Young People’s Workforce.
The primary purpose of the qualification is to prepare learners for employment in the health and social care sector. As such, this qualification has value either as a stand-alone qualification or as part of an apprenticeship.
