This qualification has been designed to allow learners to obtain and then demonstrate the knowledge required to work effectively and flexibly within the employment related services sector at Level 3.
Achievement of this qualification does not by itself indicate competence but the knowledge obtained aids progression onto the BIIAB Level 3 Diploma in Employment Related Services, which allows full demonstration of competence in roles such as that of a Personal Adviser/Job Coach, Tutor, Job Broker/Employer Engagement, and roles in Customer Liaison.
The primary purpose of the qualification is to prepare for employment in the employment related services sector. Employers can therefore rely on the knowledge provided as meeting nationally recognised standards for employment related services at this level. As such, this qualification has value as a stand-alone qualification.
